Our team will then help you get checked in and onto P&O's world-class Iona cruise ship. With priority boarding you'll be exploring the ship before you know it!

As with most cruises, your holiday properly starts at sea. Today you will get time to know the ship as we head towards the Iberian Peninsula, taking in the spectacular sea views as we go and making the most of the ship’s impressive facilities. You will have the chance to meet the rest of the group and get to grips with your new home for the next couple of weeks.

As you journey south, today presents another opportunity to relish the ship's offerings. Treat yourself to a cinematic experience, explore entertainment venues for captivating shows, and stay tuned for the Horizon newspaper detailing a plethora of activities—quizzes, bingo, karaoke, magic acts, and beyond. As temperatures rise, venture to Iona's expansive decks to bask in the warmth and indulge in one of its splendid pools. Today after you have tucked into a hearty breakfast the Limitless team will be on hand to help everyone disembark at your first destination. Lanzarote enchants with its otherworldly and consistently stunning natural beauty. Shaped by volcanoes and lava fields, the landscape boasts rocks with improbable formations perched on balanced outposts, while black sand beaches compete for attention against traditional palm-lined coasts. Recognised as a UNESCO Geopark, the island is a captivating destination that mesmerises all who venture to its volcanic shores.

When the Iona docks in Arrecife, the island's capital, you'll have a full day to immerse yourself in its sun-drenched plazas, trendy bars, and atmospheric backstreets. For a dose of local culture, explore the Museo Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo, which showcases numerous works by César Manrique, the island's influential artist.

Today heralds our arrival in Gran Canaria, the most densely populated and naturally diverse of the Canary Islands. Experience its beauty as we dock at the Santa Catalina cruise terminal, offering easy access to vibrant Las Palmas and the nearby Muelle shopping complex, just 100 meters away. Delve into the trendy old quarter, Vegueta, or enjoy the nearby Playa de las Canteras beach.

Today you'll discover the largest of the Canary Islands—Tenerife, a haven with one of the world's most varied landscapes. From lush valleys and vibrant plantations to stunning beaches and the otherworldly Mount Teide National Park, Tenerife captivates with its natural wonders. Docking in Santa Cruz, the evolved cruise port turned splendid city, you'll encounter sophisticated bars, diverse restaurants, eclectic shops, fine architecture, and captivating museums. Immerse yourself in Tenerife's diverse charm, where every moment promises the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

Departing the Canary Islands, today marks a visit to Portugal and the beautiful Madeira. Cruise visitors to this charming market town will find it easily walkable, although as you venture further inland, some streets become steeper and narrower. Explore local treasures such as locally crafted wicker furniture, intricate lacework, and vibrant tapestries, all of which make for excellent purchases, along with the renowned Madeira wine. Funchal serves as the hub for excursions to the island's botanical gardens, the picturesque fishing village of Camara de Lobos—where Churchill found inspiration for his paintings—Camacha, renowned for its wicker craftsmanship, the historic levada walks part of an ancient irrigation system, and Reids Hotel for a taste of traditional afternoon tea.

After 4 action packed days on shore, today you will be able to sit back drink in hand as you once again enjoy the Iona's on board attractions. If you are looking for relaxation why not head to the spa (they even have a hairdresser on board). Alternatively, it could be the perfect opportunity to try one of the speciality restaurants you have been considering for a delicious experience.

Boasting thousands of years of history, Cadiz has been one of Spain’s most important coastal cities for much of the country’s past. One of the spiritual homes of flamenco, it’s a city with a unique character and visible Arabic heritage, ensuring it’s an enchanting stop on your cruise. Almost entirely surrounded by water, Cadiz is one of the Iberian Peninsula’s hidden gems and a favourite amongst many Spanish travellers. The locals are known for their welcoming, down-to-earth character and the city’s restaurants are seafood specialists, so make sure you sit down for some fresh fish before you leave.

Begin your day with a continental breakfast delivered to your cabin, setting the perfect tone. In the evening, try your luck at the onboard casino, offering classic games reminiscent of Las Vegas. Alternatively, enjoy a variety of West End shows, mesmerising magic acts, and live music performances, ensuring entertainment for all to enjoy, regardless of fortune.

Vigo, Spain's bustling fishing hub, is situated on the rugged west coast of the Galicia province. Throughout history, this charming town and its resilient residents have faced numerous naval attacks, including a couple led by Sir Francis Drake. Galicia's largest city is a dynamic modern metropolis, harmonising one of the world's busiest fishing ports with an atmospheric old quarter. It boasts numerous beautiful beaches at its doorstep and a vibrant nightlife scene featuring tapas bars, restaurants, and clubs.

The local seafood, considered among the best in Spain, benefits from the area's unique microclimate. Pulpo (octopus) holds the title of the local favourite, often enjoyed with glasses of Galician Albariño. For seafood enthusiasts, a visit to Ruá de Pescaderia (Fish Street) is a must, where Vigo's renowned women oyster sellers showcase their offerings.

Today you arrive at your final port La Coruña.

La Coruña's Transatlantic Quay, positioned on the northwestern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, holds the surprising distinction of being the closest European port to New York. This charming blend of old and new features beaches along its two-mile coastline. The old town, centred around Maria Pita Square, boasts shops, bars, and restaurants, along with captivating museums like the interactive House of Mankind, an aquarium, and a planetarium. As the main Atlantic gateway to the ruggedly scenic Galicia, A Coruña offers access to Santiago de Compostela, a world-renowned pilgrimage site with a Romanesque cathedral.

On your last full day aboard, savour the remaining delights you are yet to experience. Explore any overlooked on-board attractions or revisit a favoured restaurant. As we sail home, it's also the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow Limitless guests to share photos and stories, creating cherished, lasting memories.

After your last breakfast, we’ll help you check-out. Your bags will be taken down by the Iona's crew and our care team will be on-hand to assist you. From here you will join the transfers back to the pick-up points, relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for your next Limitless adventure. We can’t wait to see you again!
