After travelling to Canterbury on Christmas Eve, you and your fellow Limitless Travellers will spend Christmas Day indulging in a traditional dinner with all the trimmings at a city centre restaurant and enjoy plenty of festive fun back at the hotel in the evening. Boxing Day sees us visit the spectacular Canterbury Cathedral and head to the theatre for a traditional pantomime, while Day Four includes a trip to Bedgebury Winter Wonderland for a stunning light show.

Itinerary

Day 1 Travel to Canterbury

We’ll meet you at one of our designated UK pick-up points, help you board our accessible coach and ensure you’re comfortable for the journey. All our coaches benefit from hydraulic lift or ramp access, and wheelchairs can be safely secured in place, so there’s no need to transfer to a standard seat. Similarly, all our drivers have experience working with Limitless Travellers and understand and respect individual access needs.

On arrival, the Limitless Team will help you check in. Then, you’ll have time to relax, unwind and explore your accessible room, before enjoying a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant. Your Tour Manager will round out the evening with a little entertainment for those not quite ready to hit the hay.

Day 2 Christmas Day Celebrations

Christmas Day on a Limitless holiday is truly special, and our team loves sharing the big day with Limitless Travellers. The day begins with everyone heading to the hotel restaurant for breakfast together. Many of our guests like to get into the spirit of things by wearing their best festive jumpers, so don’t forget yours!

In the afternoon, we’ll take a gentle stroll through Canterbury’s charming town centre to a welcoming, accessible restaurant, where a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings awaits. When everyone’s filled their boots, the celebrations will continue back at the hotel with an evening of games, Christmas films, and plenty of festive fun.

For those interested, Canterbury Cathedral will hold a Christmas Mass. Please note that entry is arranged on a first-come basis. As such, we are unable to confirm availability in advance.

Day 3 Canterbury Cathedral & Pantomime

After a relaxed morning and hearty breakfast to help you recover from all of the Christmas Day fun, the group will head into the heart of Canterbury to wander the beautiful city streets and visit the cathedral for a tour. Canterbury’s most famous landmark, the cathedral is more than 1,400 years old and boasts a fascinating history, breathtaking architecture, intricate stained-glass windows and awe-inspiring ceilings.

In the afternoon, things will get a bit more raucous with a trip to the local pantomime. Playing at the charming Marlowe Theatre in the city centre, the show is an excellent opportunity to enjoy some traditional festive fun, have a laugh and make yourself heard with a little audience participation. Day 4 Bedgebury Winter Wonderland

Following a gentle morning spent relaxing at the hotel or exploring Canterbury, we’ll board the accessible coach in the early afternoon and make our way to the gorgeous Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest. While the forest is beautiful all year round, it’s particularly spectacular over the Christmas period when the same team behind Christmas at Kew and Christmas at Blenheim takes over and puts on a phenomenal light show.

With accessible pathways weaving their way between trees that are illuminated from trunk to tip, it’s a truly magical experience. Along the trail, you’ll encounter a variety of food and drink stalls offering both sweet and savoury treats, as well as fire pits where you can toast marshmallows over the open flame for a proper festive feel.

Day 5 Breakfast & Travel Home

Today, your Christmas in Canterbury tour comes to an end. After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll board the accessible coach and depart for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, reminisce with your fellow Limitless Travellers and take in the views. We’ll ensure you’re comfortable for the return journey and look forward to seeing you on your next Limitless holiday!

How do I book a UK coach holiday?

The first step in the booking process is speaking to a Limitless Travel Advisor on [PHONE_NUMBER]. While many Limitless Travellers contact us knowing exactly which coach holiday they want to book, many also call us for advice. We often help our travellers pick out the perfect holiday based on their needs and interests. So don’t hesitate to get in touch, even if you’re not sure which holiday to book yet.

When you’re ready to book, you’ll pay a deposit to confirm your place. The remainder of the balance is payable closer to the departure date. Flexible payment plans are available, allowing you to spread the cost of your holiday.

You will also discuss your holiday and needs with your Personal Travel Advisor to ensure you have the best possible care package and everything has been considered. Finally, the Limitless Care Team will contact you three months before departure to confirm you have all you need, are happy with arrangements, and are ready for your Limitless holiday.

Where are your coach holiday pick-up points?

We operate 45 unique pick-up locations across the UK, including major cities such as Birmingham, London, Bristol and Manchester. So there’s a very good chance we have one close to you.

Not every pick-up location is available on every tour. With this in mind, if you’re interested in a particular coach holiday, we recommend contacting a Limitless Travel Advisor to confirm your nearest departure point. You can reach the limitless team on [PHONE_NUMBER].
