Whether you’ve made use of the complimentary parking or the complementary Limitless accessible taxi transfer, our team will be there to help you check in your bags and board the ship. Those guests staying in an accessible cabin will also benefit from Priority Embarkation. We know check-in and boarding can be a nervous experience for some travellers, so Limitless assists with every aspect. Once aboard the cruise ship, you’ll have a chance to settle into your cabin, explore the ship, and meet your fellow Limitless Travellers. The Limitless Care Team is always available to provide support and ensure your holiday gets off to the best possible start.

Limitless Private Excursion

One of the world’s busiest ports and the Netherlands’ second city, Rotterdam fully embraces its reputation for innovation and forward-thinking. It’s a fascinating blend of industrial heritage, modern architecture and cultural dynamism, and a pleasant contrast to Amsterdam. 

Your private Limitless excursion will take place today or tomorrow, depending on arrival time. Accompanied by a professional guide on accessible transport, you’ll pass the impressive Feyenoord stadium and other local landmarks as you travel out into the picturesque Dutch countryside. We’ll visit a family-run dairy farm to learn about traditional farming techniques, observe the cheese-making process, and sample three fantastic local cheeses. On the return drive, we’ll wind through the city’s narrow streets on a guided coach tour of both historic and modern Rotterdam.

Port Visit

If you arrived early enough to enjoy the Limitless private excursion yesterday, today is an opportunity to explore the city itself a little more thoroughly. The group often visits the Kijk Kubus Museum to see the city’s iconic Cube Houses. Though not accessible inside, the incredible architecture epitomises Rotterdam's passion for innovation. Close by, the lively Markthal (Market Hall) is the ideal place to grab some local food, too.

Alternatively, St Lawrence Church was one of the only buildings to survive the WWII bombing and is beautiful (and accessible) inside and out. You could also head to Delfshaven, arguably Rotterdam’s most picturesque neighbourhood. Here, traditional Bruin cafés (local Dutch pubs) and fantastic coffee roasters serve up excellent beverages and snacks.

Onboard Entertainment

If you’re looking for a good time, the Iona is the place to be. The entertainment is second to none and, whether you want a little light fun in the afternoon or a full-blown evening spectacular, there’s always something to enjoy.

With out-of-this-world aerial shows, full-scale theatre productions, live music, dance and party evenings, stand-up comedy, movies at the four-screen cineplex, interactive game shows and quizzes, to name just a few, there’s never a dull moment on the Iona.

Port Visit

Situated along the banks of the Elbe River, 70 miles inland from Travemünde, Hamburg is Germany’s second-largest city and its most important port. As a result, it boasts a wealth of maritime heritage and a fascinating history. The city’s extensive waterways mean it’s home to over 2,300 bridges, more than Venice, London, and Amsterdam combined.

Wander around the endless landmarks in the Altstadt (Old Town) and check out the church steeples, baroque architecture and beautiful red brick buildings. Explore Hamburg’s gorgeous green spaces or get a feel for its excellent art scene in the Kunsthalle museum. One of Europe’s coolest and most underappreciated cities, Hamburg is a delight to explore.

* There is a small chance a water tender will be used to disembark at Hamburg port. Tenders may limit accessibility, as wheelchair users or individuals with limited movement cannot always use them to disembark.

Restaurants & Bars

With more than 30 restaurants and bars, the Iona ensures you enjoy a whole host of mouth-watering dining opportunities. From fine dining with menus prepared by the renowned Marco Pierre White to multi-venue piazzas where you’ll find food from a wide range of cuisines, eating out on the Iona is always a delightful and delicious experience.

While the vast majority of the Iona’s restaurants are included in your full-board package, a few venues require diners to pay a small surcharge. These dining experiences often include special dinnertime entertainment or a distinctive menu.

Onboard Stop

As Zeebrugge is a closed port, Limitless cannot currently provide accessible transport between the ship and Bruges. This means that those Limitless Travellers who wish to visit the city will need to book on the P&O excursion at an additional cost. This must be arranged with P&O directly. Those Limitless Travellers who do not want to leave the ship can make the most of the onboard facilities and enjoy the vessel at its quietest.

As always, the friendly Limitless Team will be on hand throughout the day to offer support, company, and assistance on the ship. Whether you choose to relax on deck, pamper yourself in the spa, or take part scheduled activities, you’ll be well looked after.

Disembark & Home Drop-Off

Following your final breakfast aboard the ship, the Limitless team will assist with check-out. The ship’s crew will take down your bags, and we’ll help you disembark, make sure you reach your pick-up, and say our farewells. Your transfer will then get you home, dropping you off at your front door.
