Day 2 At Sea
Cunard Queen Anne Pavilion Pool
Exploring the Queen Anne

Your first day at sea is all about exploring the ship and settling in. Typically, the Limitless Team meets with everyone in the morning to catch up over breakfast, make sure you had a comfortable night, discuss the day ahead, and plan activities. We often lunch and dine as a group as well, so you’re never short of company.

During days at sea, there’s plenty to see and do on the Queen Anne. As a group, Limitless Travellers often enjoy a relaxed morning, followed by a group lunch and some afternoon fun - be it a theatre show or a musical performance. Then it’s time to get dressed up for a delicious dinner, followed by some fantastic evening entertainment. Of course, how you spend your day is entirely up to you! But it’s good to know that the Limitless Team and your fellow travellers are always around too.

Day 3 Kristiansand, Norway

Port Visit

With its relaxed, arty atmosphere and sun-splashed summers, Kristiansand is a popular holiday destination for Norwegians and visitors alike. The city centre packs a lot into a small area, so there’s plenty to explore without walking too far.

The Posebyen old town in Kristiansand features pretty streets lined with charming wooden homes and shops, while locals flock to the city's urban beach to make the most of the long days of summer sun. Finally, the Fiskebrygga - the city's fishing pier - is a must-visit for seafood lovers. Generally, the Limitless group will head straight for the lively local fish market, before making its way to the town centre to see the impressive Town Hall and Cathedral. There's also the city's fantastic Bystranda Beach to visit, too.

Day 4 Oslo, Norway
Oslo Norway Royal Palace
Port Visit

Set beside the water and backed by enchanting forests, the Norwegian capital is a compact city with a huge amount of character. One of the most accessible cities in Europe, it boasts a host of world-class museums and galleries, varied and eye-catching architecture, and a brilliant cafe and food scene.

On docking, the Limitless group will stroll or roll along the harbourfront promenade, taking in the majestic views of the Oslofjord as we go. It’s only 15 minutes to City Hall Square, where we’ll stop for a coffee. From there, the Nasjonalmuseet, Europe’s largest art museum and home to Edvard Munch’s iconic The Scream, is a popular next stop. The medieval Akershus Fortress offers a glimpse into Oslo’s fascinating past, while the Aker Brygge Waterfront is modern Norway at its most compelling.

On Day Two in Oslo, you’ll have the opportunity to spend the morning exploring the city before an afternoon departure. While many Limitless Travellers enjoy relaxing waterside or wandering through one of the capital’s leafy parks, you can also board a local accessible ferry and head out to the Bygdøy Peninsula to visit several of the city’s most popular museums, including the Fram Museum, Kon-Tiki Museum, Maritime Museum, and Norwegian Museum of Cultural History.

Leaving Oslo, the ship will pass through the dramatic Oslofjord. This is a great chance to enjoy the fjord’s tranquil waters and scattered islands from one of the lounges or open decks, and the evening light often lends the experience a very special magic.

Day 6 Skagen, Denmark
Skagen Kirke (Skagen Church) Denmark.
Port Visit

Denmark’s northernmost town, Skagen is situated where the Baltic and North Sea meet and boasts some of the county’s most breathtaking beaches. Small, cozy and renowned for its evening light, the town attracted a group of influential impressionist artists at the end of the 19th century, and its reputation has only grown since.

On your visit, we’ll head straight for the pedestrianised town square, where there’s an abundance of accessible cafes and boutiques. The Skagens Museum is the best place to get a feel for the work of the town’s famous artists and houses work by Anna and Michael Ancher, P.S. Krøyer, and others. It’s also possible to visit the Anchers Hus museum in Anna and Michael’s historic home. Finally, the harbourfront offers a chance to indulge in delicious local seafood.

Day 7 At Sea
Queen Anne, Cunard Cruises
Sailing Home

By now, you will have spent a few days exploring the Queen Anne and enjoying the facilities, activities and entertainment. But we guarantee there are still things you’re yet to see, do or find. Have you visited the onboard library? Tasted the tempura at the Japanese-inspired Aji Wa restaurant? Expanded your horizons at one of the Queen Anne’s award-winning Cunard Insights talks?

As we make our way back to Southampton, this is a great opportunity to check out those parts of the Queen Anne you’re yet to see or return to your favourite spots. Or just relax in total comfort and reminisce about the places you’ve seen over the course of your holiday. Have a chat with your Tour Manager in the morning and organise the perfect final day.

How does Limitless assist with check in and boarding?

Having met the Limitless Team at the port, we'll accompany you to the special assistance check-in. As it's separate from regular check-in, there are no crowds or lengthy queues.

You'll then be given a boarding time. Usually, we board as a group. However, if this isn't possible and you would like the assistance, we ensure a carer accompanies you onto the ship.

We board via the accessible gangway. This ramp connects the ship to the port. If you require support or assistance, both the Limitless Team and the ship's crew will be on hand to help. There are also manual wheelchairs available to make this transfer easier.

On some ships, the accessible gangway can be a little steep. In these instances, two crew members will provide support - one in front and one behind. You'll never be rushed and your safety and comfort are always the priorities.

Remember, you don't need to pre-book any special assistance at the port! We provide this assistance as standard with all Limitless cruises.

What is Limitless Group Support and Holiday Assistance?

Group Support & Holiday Assistance is included as standard with all Limitless holidays. It's what sets us apart from every other UK holiday provider!

This level of support is suitable for those who do not require physical support, but may need a helping hand to make the most of their holiday experience. We provide this assistance in a group setting, so you must be able to support yourself if you intend to leave the group at any point.

What can Limitless do if I require additional care and support?

At Limitless, we offer a range of additional care packages if your require a little more assistance. This allows us to tailor care to individual Limitless Travellers and ensure your needs are met while on holiday.

They range from our Morning, Evening & Occasional Daytime Care package for travellers who require intermittent assistance with personal care to our One-to-One Care With Hoisting package for travellers who would benefit from comprehensive, all-day care.

We always recommend getting touch with your Personal Travel Advisor to discuss care packages. They are always on hand to answer questions, provide information, and make recommendations about the package they think is most suitable for you. You can contact Limitless on [PHONE_NUMBER].

In addition to this, our care team will also reach out to you three months before your holiday to confirm you have everything you need to travel with complete confidence.

What are anchor ports and is Limitless responsible for port changes?

At Limitless Travel, we carefully select cruise itineraries with minimal anchor ports. Anchor ports are those destinations where port logistics mean a small boat or ‘tender’ transport is required to ferry guests to shore. In the vast majority of cases, these tenders are not accessible and some Limitless Travellers will not be able to leave the ship.

Unfortunately, port changes can happen due to any number of reasons while at sea. Limitless Travel cannot be held accountable for any such port changes.

Which side of the ship is best for fjords?

On our Norwegian fjord cruises, both sides of the ship typically guarantee spectacular views of the fjords. However, selecting the “best” side of the ship often depends on the itinerary specifics.

Generally, the starboard (right-hand) side might be slightly better if you’re cruising north and the port (left-hand) side if you’re heading south. In both instances, this is because that side of the ship will spend more time facing the coastline.

Modern cruise ships are designed to maximize visibility and the open decks and public viewing areas guarantee everyone has access to striking 360-degree vistas. On Limitless Norwegian Fjords Cruises, there are always plenty of opportunities to use these facilities.

Is the sea rough in the Norwegian fjords?

The waters in the Norwegian fjords are generally much calmer than the open sea, thanks to the fjords' narrow and sheltered characteristics. This makes Norwegian fjord cruises an excellent choice for those concerned about sea sickness.

The cruise ship will be out on the open sea when travelling to, from and between fjords. Here, rougher seas are possible but entirely dependent on the weather, conditions, and season. Modern cruise ships are well-equipped with stabilisers to counteract rougher seas and minimise the motion you feel, ensuring a comfortable onboard experience.
