After boarding the accessible coach at one of our UK pick-up points, we’ll begin the journey to York. Travellers can choose to remain in their wheelchair, which will be safely secured in place, or transfer to a standard seat. On arrival at your four-star hotel located in the heart of the city, you’ll have time to settle in, before tucking into a delicious evening meal.
After breakfast, we'll make our way to the Scarborough Fair Collection - one of Europe’s largest collections of fairground mechanical organs and showman rides. We’ll then enjoy lunch at the tearooms and enjoy live entertainment featuring authentic dance organs from the 1800s, and indulge in a cream tea. In the afternoon we'll take our time to enjoy the Scarborough seafront and accessible promenade.
Staying in the heart of York, you won’t have to travel far today to begin exploring! Just five minutes from your hotel, you’ll find York Minster, a stunning Gothic cathedral. With over 2,000 years of history, York also boasts medieval streets and grand Georgian townhouses. In the afternoon, we'll indulge in York’s famous chocolate legacy with a visit to one of the city's renowned chocolate shops. Here, you’ll learn about the history of chocolate-making in York and even create your own custom chocolate bar to take home.
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll make our way to the scenic coastal town of Whitby, passing through the stunning hills of the North York Moors National Park. First, we'll visit Pannett Park, a beautiful green space offering fantastic views of the town. The park leads us to the Whitby Museum, where you’ll learn about the town’s fascinating history. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the bustling seafront for a leisurely stroll and a chance to try Whitby’s famous fish and chips.
Today, your Scarborough, Whitby, and York tour comes to an end. After breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel for various UK drop-off locations. Relax, take in the beautiful Yorkshire landscape, and enjoy a little commentary from your Tour Manager. All that's left is to say farewell to new friends and begin planning your next Limitless adventure!
