Today your adventure begins! Either join our transfer to the cruise port or park your car in the complimentary parking; before we board P&O's Britannia. With its maiden voyage in 2015 the Britannia is a much loved ship with all the amenities you would expect from P&O. With 13 guest decks its also one of the smaller ships making the experience more intimate whilst never sacrificing the facilities.
Our care team will help you check-in your bags, after which they’ll be taken directly to your room. If you’re staying in an accessible cabin, you also benefit from Priority Embarkation.
Today you will be making your way to the North as you journey around the UK coast and set sail for the North sea. After enjoying a hearty breakfast today is the perfect time to explore the ship and check out all the Britannia has to offer. Keep an eye out for the Horizon news paper. In this you will find further information regarding performances, films, games, talks and much, much more.
Today, we arrive in your first exciting port of Haugesund, the heartland of the Vikings. While the town itself is relatively young, the surrounding area was once a centre of Viking activity, and Norway’s first king, Harald Fairhair, lived just 8km from here. Despite its small size, Haugesund is brimming with culture, hosting the Norwegian International Film Festival and an acclaimed annual jazz festival.
As we dock, you’ll have the option to explore the town or stay aboard the Iona, where you can enjoy the sauna, steam room, swimming pool, and a variety of other onboard facilities. Throughout the trip the Limitless staff will be on hand to accompany everyone off the ship and assist as you wonder around this magical destination.
The peaceful village of Olden has the perfect Fjordland cruise setting - nestling at the southern end of one branch of the beautiful Nordfjord and at the entrance to the gorgeous Oldedalen Valley.
Olden is blessed with a beautiful fjordic coastline, towering mountains and the biggest glacier on mainland Europe, Jostedalsbreen. There’s easy access to both the Briksdal and Kjenndalen glaciers, plunging dramatically into the valleys below. Crystal-clear Lake Oldevatnet is set among steep mountains and roaring waterfalls. In a nutshell, it’s Norwegian nature at its finest.
In the early evening we'll set sail again cruising through Innvikfjorden & Nordfjord - camera at the ready
Famous for its Art Nouveau architecture, Ålesund is the cultural centre of the Sunnmøre region. Enjoy a scenic cruise of Geirangerfjord before you disembark in the centre of town. One stormy night a hundred years ago, the town burned down and was entirely rebuilt in Art Nouveau style with a varied cultural scene, exciting cafes and restaurants.
*Please note that on certain sailings the ship may stop in Skjolden rather than Ålesund. For further information please contact our friendly team on 0800 711 7112.
Land ahoy! Your final port of call is Stavanger, offering a perfect end to the stunning Norwegian coastline. Once a Viking stronghold, this charming city is known for its beautiful wooden houses that line the historic centre. The ship will dock just a 10-minute walk from the city, allowing you plenty of time to explore this picturesque destination. The Limitless staff will be on hand as always throughout the day to assist with disembarkation and to accompany the group as you wander through this enchanting town.
*Please note that on certain sailings the ship may stop in Kristiansand rather than Stavanger. For further information please contact us on 0800 711 7112.
After a few days filled with incredible sights, today is all about relaxation as we sail back through the North Sea on our journey home. Take advantage of the ship’s fantastic facilities—perhaps today is the perfect time to book a spa treatment, join a cookery class, or simply unwind with a drink in the Crow's Nest, swapping photos and sharing memories of your unforgettable adventure. Sit back, relax, and savor the final moments of your trip!
After your last breakfast, we’ll help you check-out. Your bags will be taken down by the Britannia's crew and our care team will be on-hand to assist you. From here you will join the transfers back to the pick-up points, relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for your next Limitless adventure. We can’t wait to see you again!
