Christmas is a special time of year. It’s a period when people come together to celebrate, enjoy one another’s company and dig into some delicious food. Which is why we designed our Christmas in Windsor tour to provide everything you expect of a perfect Christmas getaway. Not only will you spend your time in the company of fabulous fellow Limitless travellers and our amazing Care Team, but you will also experience a delightfully festive atmosphere, see London’s Christmas lights on a sightseeing tour and tuck into a traditional Christmas Dinner.

You will spend Christmas Eve exploring Windsor Castle and the UK’s intriguing royal history, while also marvelling at the castle’s extravagant 20ft Christmas tree and breathtaking decorations. On Christmas Day itself, we’ll enjoy a relaxing morning together and partake in a few festive activities, before enjoying a festive lunch at the hotel. Come Boxing Day, we’ll all board the accessible Limitless coach for a sightseeing tour of London’s beautifully decorated streets, as well as most impressive landmarks. In the afternoon, it’s time for Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland, where an accessible ice rink and an endless array of street food stalls await you.  

Your accessible Windsor hotel has been hand-picked by the Limitless Team for its superb location and excellent disabled facilities. A Limitless Travel representative will accompany the tour group throughout the holiday, providing assistance whenever required and ensuring you receive the support you need. Your breakfast, dinner and Christmas meal are all included in the cost of the trip. This holiday is designed to be wheelchair friendly and disabled friendly, ensuring that all activities and accommodations are accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Day 1: Travel and Settling In

After boarding the fully accessible coach at one of our UK meeting points, we’ll make our way to our disabled-friendly hotel near Windsor. Travellers in wheelchairs can choose to remain in their chair, which will be safely secured into place throughout the journey, or transfer to a standard seat.

On arrival at your wheelchair accessible accommodation, you’ll be able to refresh with a complimentary cup of tea (or a cocktail, if you prefer). Then the Limitless Team will help you check-in and get your bags to your room. There will be a little time to settle in and make yourself comfortable before your delicious dinner is served!

Day 2: Windsor Castle for Christmas Eve

After a fantastic breakfast in the hotel, we will board our accessible transport and head into Windsor to visit Royal Windsor Castle. Looking spectacularly well appointed for Christmas Eve, the castle will be ready for the festivities and looking its holiday best. 

At the castle, you will enjoy a tour of the State Apartment, which tells the story of the British monarchy’s fascinating history. Windsor Castle is also home to the famous St George’s Chapel, where many of the country’s previous kings and queens were laid to rest. The royal tombs include Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour, as well as Charles I. 

During the excursion, there will be a chance to stop for a lunchtime refreshment. The castle is situated in the town centre of Windsor and allows for easy access to cafes and restaurants. At the end of the day, we’ll once again board the accessible coach to tuck into an excellent dinner back at the hotel.

Day 3: Celebrating Christmas Day

Merry Christmas! The big day has arrived and with it plenty of Limitless festive cheer. On Christmas morning, we’ll have breakfast together so we can share gifts and enjoy the company of your fellow Limitless travellers. The Tour Manager will host a variety of Christmas-themed activities and we’ll spend a relaxed start to the day celebrating our favourite holiday of the year. We will pop out for a festive wander and enjoy a mince pie ahead of our lavish Christmas dinner.

In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy an unbeatable Christmas feast at the hotel that’s sure to result in that wonderfully full, festive feeling. Today’s all about kicking back, relaxing and enjoying the moment with a group of friendly, fun-loving Limitless travellers - we know you’re bound to have a brilliant Christmas day! 

Day 4: Boxing Day in the City

After a day of Christmas celebrations, the holiday continues with a Boxing Day adventure to London Town. After another lovely breakfast at the hotel, we will board the wheelchair friendly coach and head for a day out in one of the world’s most iconic capitals. We’ll tour its famous streets aboard the coach, ensuring you get to see the beautiful Christmas decorations, stunning window displays and, of course, the city’s world-famous landmarks.

After a morning of sightseeing, we’ll make our way to Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland. Featuring a fully accessible ice rink, for any guests that wish to skate, you can go on the ice in a wheelchair, with one of our carers to support you. There's also plenty of mouth-watering street food and a diverse array of attractions, it’s the perfect way to end a perfect Christmas holiday. As the day draws to a close, we’ll journey back to the hotel for our final meal together.

Today, your accessible wonderful Christmas in Windsor Tour comes to an end. After a hearty breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, take in the views of the city through the window and enjoy a little commentary from your Tour Manager. Now, all that’s left to do is say farewell to new friends and plan your next Limitless adventure!

Boasting a fantastic location close to Windsor, your four-star hotel benefits from accessible bedrooms, wet room bathrooms and wheelchair-friendly public spaces. It also features accessible gym facilities. Included in the price of your holiday are delicious cooked breakfasts and three-course evening meals. With a cocktail on arrival, a fully licensed cocktail bar and lounge area, there are also plenty of places to relax and unwind at the end of the day.

In the evening, you’ll be served dinner for every night of your stay.

All of our vehicles are 100% accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. They are fitted with either a ramp or a hydraulic lift and wheelchairs can be clamped into place, so there's no need to transfer out of your wheelchair if that's where you're more comfortable. Travellers who do not use a wheelchair are also welcome to use the ramp or lift to access the coach.
