A cruise is a great option for travellers with a disability or restricted mobility. All the entertainment, dining, and relaxation you could want is waiting onboard, plus the destinations come to you! Win win.
But you may be wondering - how do I get on the ship in the first place?
Here's our 5-step guide to check-in & boarding:
Travel to the port via an accessible vehicle, included free of charge for all journeys within 125 miles of the port. We'll also drop you home after your holiday!
The Limitless team will be waiting to greet you. We'll then make our way to the special assistance area. This is separate to other passengers meaning no queuing. Here, you'll have your picture taken for your ID.
Your luggage will be taken directly to your cabin by the crew. For security there's a separate accessible entrance. The process is similar to that of an airport, taking approximately 2 minutes. Wheelchair users will be taken around the scanner for pat downs and a quick check of equipment.
Priority boarding means you'll be first on the ship. Gangways are accessible for wheelchairs and scooters, with a gradual incline and no bumps. If you don't normally use a wheelchair but would like to for boarding then these are available.
We'll board as a group taking our time to do so safely, there's no rush. Boarding takes approximately 20 minutes in total.
All corridors are wide with lifts available so you can easily make your way around. Accessible cabins are spacious with great facilities. If you have hired any equipment then this will also be waiting for you with your luggage.
As always, our team will be there to help you get settled in
