Itinerary

Day 1 Travel to Bournemouth
Bournemouth beach
Bournemouth

We’ll meet you at one of our designated UK pick-up points, help you board our accessible coach and ensure you’re comfortable for the journey. All our coaches benefit from hydraulic lift or ramp access, and wheelchairs can be safely secured in place, so there’s no need to transfer to a standard seat. Similarly, all our drivers have experience working with Limitless Travellers and understand and respect individual access needs.

On arrival, the Limitless Team will help you check in. Then, you’ll have time to relax, unwind and explore your accessible room, before enjoying a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant. Your Tour Manager will round out the evening with a little entertainment for those not quite ready to hit the hay.

Day 2 Oceanarium & Bournemouth
Bournemouth pier

After starting the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we’ll board the coach for the two-minute drive to Bournemouth Oceanarium. Vetted for accessibility by our own team, the oceanarium is home to a spectacular array of marine wildlife, including turtles, penguins, sharks, stingrays and dwarf crocodiles, to name a few. It also features an underwater tunnel and feeding sessions throughout the day.

In the afternoon, you’ll have plenty of time to explore Bournemouth’s award-winning beaches, stroll the promenade, head to the pier and explore the city’s bustling town centre. We also highly recommend the beautiful public gardens, where Bournemouth’s unique microclimate sustains lush, verdant and varied plantlife.

Day 3 Swanage & Coastal Steam Train
Accessible Swanage steam train

On your last full day in Dorset, we’ll make our way to the traditional seaside town of Swanage. Located south of Bournemouth and Poole, on the eastern end of the Isle of Purbeck, the town is well-known for its striking coastline, breathtaking natural surroundings and historic association with smugglers.

Swanage is also the point of embarkation for the Swanage Heritage Railway, a steam-powered service that operates along a 9.5-mile (15.3 km) stretch of track, with stops at Norden, Corfe Castle, Harman's Cross, and Herston Halt. After seeing some of the coast from the rails, we’ll board the coach for a scenic drive back across the Isle of Purbeck to Bournemouth. A delicious three-course meal awaits!

Day 4 Isle of Wight
Isle of Wight

With around 70 miles of coastline that encompasses dazzling cliffs, sweeping beaches, spectacular rock formations and arcade-lined promenades, the Isle of Wight is a sensational holiday destination. While many come to see the iconic Needles, visitors tend to fall in love with the island’s laidback atmosphere and non-stop natural beauty.

Boarding the accessible coach in the morning, we’ll make our way to the ferry terminal and enjoy the short Solent crossing. From there, we’ll tour the island and some of its most famous attractions. Along the way, we’ll get as close as accessibility allows to the Needles and visit a local sand shop, artisan glass-blowing studio, and sweet factory. Dinner is booked for the excellent The Cow at Tapnell Farm, after which we’ll head back to the ferry.

Day 5 Cream Tea by the Sea
Jam & cream on scones

After a busy day on the Isle of Wight, today is an opportunity to relax, take it easy and explore beautiful Bournemouth. Following a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we’ll spend the rest of the morning strolling the promenade, chilling on the beach, or checking out the local shopping opportunities. This day’s all about you, so talk to your Tour Manager in advance if you have any special requests or want to see anything in particular.

In the afternoon, the group will head to the fantastic Miramar Hotel, where we’ll treat you to a delicious cream tea. Billed as having the best sea view in Bournemouth, the Miramar boasts a gorgeous terrace if the sun is shining and indoor lounges that overlook the coast if the weather isn’t as good.

Day 6 Beaulieu Motor Museum
Beaulieu Motor Museum

Located in the idyllic New Forest, where ponies, donkeys and Highland cattle roam free on common land, Beaulieu is a picturesque village with a fascinating history. Once at the heart of the English shipbuilding industry, it was also home to one of the country’s most important espionage finishing schools during World War II.

Our day in Beaulieu will see us visit the excellent Motor Museum, one of the New Forest’s most popular attractions. Up there with any motoring collection on the planet, the museum features cars, motorbikes and memorabilia from across the ages. Whether you want to explore a replica 1930s garage or are more interested in the history of F1 and its Grand Prix greats, the Beaulieu Motor Museum houses a wonderful array of exhibits.

Day 7 Breakfast & Travel Home
Bournemouth

Today, your Bournemouth & Isle of Wight Tour comes to an end. After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll board the accessible coach and depart for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, reminisce with your fellow Limitless Travellers and take in the views. We’ll ensure you’re comfortable for the return journey and look forward to seeing you on your next Limitless holiday!

General FAQs

How do I book a UK coach holiday?

The first step in the booking process is speaking to a Limitless Travel Advisor on [PHONE_NUMBER]. While many Limitless Travellers contact us knowing exactly which coach holiday they want to book, many also call us for advice. We often help our travellers pick out the perfect holiday based on their needs and interests. So don’t hesitate to get in touch, even if you’re not sure which holiday to book yet.

When you’re ready to book, you’ll pay a deposit to confirm your place. The remainder of the balance is payable closer to the departure date. Flexible payment plans are available, allowing you to spread the cost of your holiday.

You will also discuss your holiday and needs with your Personal Travel Advisor to ensure you have the best possible care package and everything has been considered. Finally, the Limitless Care Team will contact you three months before departure to confirm you have all you need, are happy with arrangements, and are ready for your Limitless holiday.

What Limitless Travellers Say

Lovely trip to Bournemouth

I found Aisha, Tracy, Japeth and Barbara very helpful. Helped me in anyway they could. Took us to some lovely places for dinner. I don't want to go home, but i have to. I especially loved the steam train - 10/10

Disabled holidays with a difference

After doing online research for a travel company that offered short UK breaks with support & companionship for disabled travellers, I found Limitless travel I so I gave them a call to make an enquiry. I spoke to Kristina Stoyanova who talked me through all the available 5 day breaks that would depart from my local pick up point. Kristina was very knowledgeable and gave me detailed information about the services they provide with regard to small group bookings and the accessibility and support they offer throughout the whole 5 day break. In addition, prior to booking, they also do a telephone assessment to check your specific needs & requirements to make sure that all your requirements are met. I would not hesitate to recommend Limitless Travel based on our booking experience & Kristina really does go the extra mile to make sure that I was confident & would feel safe & secure on holiday knowing that I would have continued support every step of the way.
