REYKJAVIK iceland

Day 6:- Reykjavik, Iceland

< >

The iconic city of Reykjavik is our first port in Iceland. The burgeoning capital city of Reykjavik has seen a spike in international tourist attention over the past few years, and you’d be hard-pressed to ignore this effortlessly cool port of call on an Iceland cruise. The city is truly magical in the summertime, when the sun is out for longer than you’d ever imagine, and residents stay out late drinking and enjoying food, picnicking, and spending time in nature.

ISAFJORDUR iceland

Day 7:- Isafjordur, Iceland

< >

Welcome to your second Icelandic port! Some of Iceland's oldest and best-preserved buildings, dating from the 18th century, are located in Ísafjördur. The town is still predominantly a fishing centre. A vigorous and varied cultural and artistic scene flourishes in the town as well. Mountains surround Ísafjördur on the three sides and the sea on the other. The ancient settlement site of Eyri downtown is enclosed by the narrow Skutulsfjördur fjord, which shelters the harbour in all weathers.

*Please note this can be a tender port. For further information please contact us on 0800 711 7112.

AKUREYRI iceland

Day 8:- Akureyri, Iceland

< >

You might not have heard of Akureyri, the quiet trading post turned college town of less than 20,000 residents. The mountains surrounding the fjord, which Akureyri is in the bottom of, is called Eyjafjordur. It is the longest fjord in Iceland, or 60 km, the fjord that all ships have to go through, on the way to Akureyri.

Eyjafjordur iceland

Day 9:- Eyjafjordur, Iceland

< >

Today brings you to your final port in Iceland, the breathtaking Eyjafjordur. This stunning fjord is surrounded by picturesque villages and Viking-era farms, with majestic mountains soaring up to 1,000 meters high, creating an unforgettable backdrop.

Keep your eyes peeled for the incredible wildlife that calls these waters home. Humpback whales are frequent visitors, offering awe-inspiring sightings, while harbour porpoises, white-beaked dolphins, orcas, blue whales, and fin whales have also been known to make appearances. Add to that the sight of bobbing puffins, and you’re in for a treat.

Don’t forget to pack your binoculars—as even a stroll on deck could reveal some magical moments in the serene Icelandic waters. This is your chance to soak in the unparalleled beauty and wildlife of this extraordinary destination!

Day 10:- At Sea

< >

After an action packed few days visiting some fantastic ports, today will give you the chance to relax, refresh and enjoy some more of the facilities on board the ship. Why not indulge in a traditional afternoon tea as you watch the world pass you by.

Cooking class

Day 11: At Sea

< >

Closing back in today on British waters, you will have another day spent back on the ship. Did you know you can do cookery classes whilst on board! Why not try your hand and see if you can learn a new recipe from a world class chef.

kirkwall orkney scotland

Day 12:- Kirkwall, Orkney Islands Scotland

< >

Orkney, a captivating archipelago off Scotland’s northeastern coast, is known for its ancient Neolithic sites, towering sandstone cliffs, and thriving seal colonies. Kirkwall, Orkney’s largest town, was first mentioned in the Orkneyinga Saga around 1200 AD and has grown into a lively hub that balances historic charm with a modern, cosmopolitan vibe.

Kirkwall is home to about a third of Orkney’s population, and a stroll through its vibrant center reveals the essence of island life. A single main street winds south from the colorful harbor, lined with inviting hotels, restaurants, cozy cafes, and an eclectic array of shops and independent boutiques.

The town’s name, rooted in the Norse word Kirkjuvagr—or "Church on the Bay"—reflects its deep Viking heritage, with the stunning St. Magnus Cathedral at its heart. Everywhere you look, remnants of medieval history and Norse influence breathe life into this unique coastal town.

Inverness Scotland

Day 13:- Invergordon, Inverness, Scottland

< >

Invergordon, a charming port town in Easter Ross, Ross and Cromarty, is best known for its historic ties to the Royal Navy.

Today, Limitless staff will assist everyone as we disembark and board accessible transportation for a short drive to Inverness. Situated where the River Ness flows into the Moray Firth, Inverness is the largest city and cultural heart of the Scottish Highlands. Its Old Town is brimming with history, showcasing landmarks like the 19th-century Inverness Cathedral, the mostly 18th-century Old High Church, and a Victorian Market filled with food, clothing, and crafts.

Enjoy exploring this vibrant city, diving into its rich past, and rounding off the day with a taste of authentic Scottish whisky.
