Day 2 - The Golden Circle

< >
One of Iceland’s most popular attractions, the Golden Circle is a 190-mile loop that explores the countryside surrounding Reykjavik. In the morning, your private guide will pick you up from your hotel and we’ll make our way to Þingvellir National Park. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the park is the perfect introduction to the drama, scale and beauty of the Icelandic landscape. All paths within the park are wheelchair accessible, ensuring every guest can enjoy the visit. Later, we’ll head further south to visit one of Iceland’s biggest geysers, Strokkur. Capable of shooting water up to 40 metres into the air, the geyser typically erupts every 4-8 minutes, so you’ll have the opportunity to catch this awe-inspiring eruption more than once. Our last stop in the Golden Circle is Gullfoss - the Golden Falls. One of the country’s most iconic natural landmarks and a spectacular sight, the waterfall gets its name from the way the glacial sediment takes on a golden shine when it catches the light in sunnier weather. On the way back to the hotel, we’ll stop off at Kerið, a 3000-year-old volcano crater that’s now filled with water. Its vivid red slopes and striking aquamarine waters make it the perfect end to a wonderful day.

Day 3 - Exploring Reykjavik & Visit Perlan

< >

The northernmost capital in the world, Reykjavik is a small and vibrant city that packs in more history, culture and great food than you could believe. Today, we’ll be taking the time to explore the streets, cafes, museums and landmarks of this fascinating city. We will visit the Town Hall by the lake, and then head over to Perlan. Perlan is an interactive experience taking you through the history of Iceland, and its unique climate. There is an interactive planetarium experience to enjoy, showing the birth of the northern lights. We will have an evening meal in the observatory at the museum.

Day 4 - The Blue Lagoon

< >
Perhaps Iceland’s most iconic attraction and one of the natural wonders of the world, the Blue Lagoon is on most visitors’ “To Do” list. Heated to a perfect 38°C and featuring a 70/30 blend of seawater and freshwater, the lagoon is the ideal place to relax and unwind on your penultimate day. The lagoon is fully accessible, with special changing rooms, a pool access lift and special wheelchairs for the lagoon itself. The deepest part of Blue Lagoon is around 1.60m/5.2ft but most areas are far shallower, so you never feel out of your depth. Over the course of the day, you’ll have plenty of time to relax, experience the rejuvenating powers of the Blue Lagoon\'s legendary waters and explore the breathtaking beauty of the moss-covered landscape. In the late afternoon, your guide will drive you back to the capital, where you can tuck into local delicacies at one of the city’s fabulous restaurants.
