I was really anxious about this first Limitless holiday as I so badly wanted it to go well. As the coach pulled away to the rolling hills of Devon, I wasn't entirely sure how the next few days would play out.
Glad to say the sun was shining on us. Seeing the group smiling and having a laugh together filled me with pride, not only for the achievement of getting here in the first place, but also the reassurance that what we were doing was important. And I hoped it had only just begun.
Discover DevonI was lucky enough to grow up in Scotland, so of course I wanted to take our travellers up to the highlands as soon as possible. I genuinely think it is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Our first trip North was also special being that it was the second country stamped in our Limitless passports - we were going global! It was a brilliant experience with memorable visits to Edinburgh and Loch Lomond. We've loved returning to Scotland again and again ever since.
Explore ScotlandLimitless holidays are as much about the people you'll meet as the destinations you'll visit. There's nothing that encapsulates this better than our festive trips.
Christmas can be the most merry of times, but it can also be incredible lonely. Our 8-day Christmas in the Cotswolds tour began the annual Limitless tradition of bringing great people together for a festive celebration. These have since become some of our most popular trips.
Celebrate Christmas in the CotswoldsFor many people, especially those with disabilities, flying is a daunting prospect. Our first trip abroad would prove to be a huge moment - now we could really say we were unlocking the world.
It felt surreal to be in Tenerife for that first time in 2019. The obstacles had seemed too great, but we were here, we did it! For the group, including Jamie & Danielle (pictured), it meant so much.
Fly to TenerifeLooking back on that first coach trip to Devon, did I think we would reach 100 Limitless holidays? Of course I had hoped so, but nothing was guaranteed.
With so much planning and care going into every trip, each one was a milestone in itself. It felt fitting that our 100th holiday took us to the dramatic scenery of Iceland, a destination that seems as far as you can get from accessible. Yet the group enjoyed a dip in the blue lagoon, a tour of the Golden Circle, and even a magical sighting of the Northern Lights, all made possible thanks to the Limitless team.
Discover Northern Lights In IcelandI was so excited to launch our range of accessible cruises in 2022. From cream teas in Devon to sunny Tenerife, now it was time for a holiday at sea!
The bliss of cruising is that everything comes to you, from 5-star dinners, world-class entertainment, and of course the most stunning sights - so close you can almost reach out and touch them from your balcony. Our first cruise to the Norwegian Fjords was such a great success that we have since sailed all over Europe and beyond.
Cruise the Norwegian FjordsLimitless would be nothing without our travellers. From all colours of life they've joined us on holiday. I'm so humbled that we've now officially taken over 4,000 travellers away, for many it was their first holiday in years.
Pinky has now been on 7 Limitless holidays including Wales, Scarborough, and Festive Blackpool. It was in Blackpool that she became our 1000th traveller.
Discover Festive BlackpoolHaving gone through such a distressing time, the relief of being able to travel again was overwhelming. The pandemic had left so many within the disabled and elderly community incredibly isolated. To be able to bring people together again on our first visit back to the Lake District was very moving, and long overdue.
The sense of freedom was only exaggerated by the vast scale of the scenery that laid before us. Certainly a fitting location for Limitless to get back on the road.
Holiday In The Lake DistrictI agree with those that say having a disability can be a liberating experience. As I enjoyed a supported scuba dive in the Caribbean it dawned on me that I may never have had the courage to do these things before my diagnosis.
Limitless Travel now fly every year to the Caribbean so that one and all can enjoy a slice of paradise. It's a reminder that with the right support and the right mindset the possibilities really are Limitless.
