Your holiday begins! Whether you’ve made use of the complimentary parking or a Limitless transfer, our team will be there to help you check in your bags and board the ship. Those guests staying in an accessible cabin will also benefit from Priority Embarkation. We know check-in and boarding can be a nervous experience for some travellers, so Limitless assists with every aspect. Once aboard the cruise ship, you’ll have a chance to settle into your cabin, explore the ship, and meet your fellow Limitless Travellers. The Limitless Care Team is always available to provide support and ensure your holiday gets off to the best possible start.

Exploring the Queen Victoria

Your first day at sea is all about exploring the ship and settling in. Typically, the Limitless Team meets with everyone in the morning to catch up over breakfast, make sure you had a comfortable night, discuss the day ahead, and plan activities. We often lunch and dine as a group as well, so you’re never short of company.

During days at sea, there’s plenty to see and do on the Queen Victoria. As a group, Limitless Travellers often enjoy a relaxed morning, followed by a group lunch and some afternoon fun - be it a theatre show or a musical performance. Then it’s time to get dressed up for a delicious dinner, followed by some fantastic evening entertainment. Of course, how you spend your day is entirely up to you! But it’s good to know that the Limitless Team and your fellow travellers are always around too.

Onboard Entertainment

From big stage spectaculars to intimate musical performances, there’s something for everyone aboard the Queen Victoria. Though the 800-seater Royal Theatre is the jewel in its crown, the ship hosts a wide range of other venues too. The Queens Room is an elegant homage to a bygone era, where guests can dance the night away to a live orchestra, and the Commodore Club offers excellent cocktails and even better piano performances. Fancy a little karaoke? The Yacht Club has you covered.

Pools & Spa

On warmer days, guests can enjoy the Queen Victoria’s two outdoor pools. The Lido Pool and Pavilion Pool are both located on Deck 9 and benefit from poolside loungers for those who want to top up their tan. A hoist is available for the Pavilion Pool to help disabled guests enter and exit the water. In cooler conditions, the indoor hydrotherapy pool is an excellent option, allowing you to relax in comfort, no matter the weather.

The ship also boasts an onboard spa, Mareel Wellness and Beauty, and an Aqua Therapy Centre. The former offers a range of relaxing and recuperative treatments, including facials, massages and body wraps. The latter is home to the hydrotherapy pool, as well as a sauna and steam room.

Port Visit

Located 850 miles west of the Iberian Peninsula, on Terceira, the third island in the Azores to be discovered by the Portuguese, Praia da Vitória is home to some of the Azores’ rare sandy beaches. With the cruise terminal just a short distance from the town centre, it’s a quick transfer to the main attractions.

Limitless Travellers will typically disembark the shuttle transfer at Praia da Vitória Marina, which boasts gorgeous views over the bay and fishing boats. After a gentle stroll along the spectacular seaside promenade, we reach Praínha, the town’s small beach that’s renowned for its excellent accessibility. From there, it’s a short walk into the centre, where the Igreja Matriz da Praia da Vitória (Parish Church) overlooks the square and there are more than a few cafes to enjoy.

*Please be aware this port can sometimes require a tender, when a small boat is needed to reach the shore. This is not usually accessible.

Port Visit

São Miguel is the largest island in the Azores and Ponta Delgada is its charming capital. A small, picturesque city with an abundance of alluring colonial architecture, a vibrant marina and an array of tantalising restaurants, it’s a fantastic introduction to the Azores.

The city centre is a pleasant 10-minute walk from the port. Limitless groups tend to explore Ponta Delgada’s verdant Botanical Gardens before wandering through the basalt and marble streets of the centre, checking out local shops and stopping for a bite to eat and refreshments along the way. Ponta Delgada can get particularly warm and humid, so we recommend making sure you wear something light and airy that also covers the skin.

Restaurants & Bars

With a total of 13 bars and 11 restaurants, the Cunard Queen Victoria caters to all tastes, offering everything from casual poolside bites to fine dining and the chance to sample global cuisines. Whether you fancy a classic pub lunch at the Golden Lion or are tempted by the gourmet delights of the Steakhouse at the Verandah, the Queen Victoria’s dining venues guarantee delicious fare.

The ship’s restaurants are supplemented by a range of bars and lounges, where you can sit back and relax with a cocktail or enjoy a glass of wine as you pull into port. The Commodore Club guarantees fantastic sea views, and the Art Deco Chart Room evokes the glamour of an age gone by. Churchill’s Cigar Lounge is the ideal spot for cigar connoisseurs who want to light up while enjoying a glass of scotch, and the Yacht Club keeps the party going into the night with music and plenty of dancing.

Port Visit

Maybe the Canaries’ best-kept secret, Santa Cruz de la Palma is a spectacularly beautiful town and a real pleasure to explore. Spread along the coastline and backed by verdant hills, it boasts colourful streets with plantlife spilling from balconies and window boxes, palm-lined plazas, and a kilometre-long promenade.

The town centre is just 10 minutes from the ship and there are plenty of shopping opportunities and lunch options within a short, easy stroll or roll. Having explored the centre, the Limitless group often heads down to the accessible beach, passing a replica of Christopher Colombus’ ship along the way.

Limitless Accessible Walking Tour

Welcome to Tenerife - the largest of the Canary Islands and home to the spectacular Mount Teide volcano and its rock-strewn lunar landscapes. We’ll dock in Santa Cruz, the island’s capital, where you will discover a vibrant beachside city with endless bars and restaurants, and some gorgeous local architecture.

Your tour manager will lead a gentle walking tour through the city’s palm-lined streets, laidback plazas and historic landmarks. The tour passes the excellent Museum of Nature and Archaeology, and Limitless Travellers who want to pay the reasonable entry price will be rewarded with a fascinating insight into the island’s geologic origins and early history. For those who want to explore at their own pace, the city is full of easy-to-reach spots like the botanical gardens or accessible Playa de las Teresitas beach.

Port Visit

Today, we arrive in Gran Canaria, the most densely populated and naturally diverse of the Canary Islands. Spain’s ninth-largest city, Las Palmas is often considered to have the best climate in the world and boasts a vibrant bar and restaurant scene to boot. We’ll dock at the Santa Catalina cruise terminal, which offers easy access to both the city and the nearby Muelle shopping complex.

Together, we’ll explore the city’s old quarter, Vegueta, discovering the iconic Catedral de Santa Ana and stopping for a bite to eat in a relaxed, sun-drenched plaza as we go. We’ll also head over to the Playa de las Canteras - an accessible beach with disabled toilets and beach wheelchairs. If you prefer a full beach day, you can simply head to the Playa de las Canteras as soon as you disembark the ship.

Onboard Activities & Classes

Whether you want to try your hand at photography or brush up on your dance steps, the Queen Victoria offers a range of activities and classes suited to all interests and abilities. While workshops vary from cruise to cruise, they often include watercolour painting, cocktail making and art history, among others. The popular Cunard Insights program brings a host of inspiring, informative and entertaining guest speakers to the Queen Victoria. From attending a talk from an Olympic athlete or listening to a polar explorer describe their Arctic expeditions to learning more about your cruise destinations from a renowned historian, Cunard Insights never fail to fascinate.

Limitless Private Excursion

Lisbon is one of Europe’s trendiest cities and a popular destination for foodies, sun-seekers, history fans and culture vultures alike. Iconic yellow trams rumble through postcard-perfect streets, locals linger over deliciously long alfresco lunches, and melancholic fado music seeps from darkened bars come evening time.

As part of the Limitless Lisbon experience, you can join an accessible 90-minute walking tour from the port to the country’s largest square, Praça do Comércio. After, you’ll enjoy a private wine-tasting experience and sample the local fish cakes and legendary pastéis de nata - Lisbon’s delightful custard tarts. Limitless Travellers can then explore the local area, grabbing a little more food, shopping, or checking out one of Lisbon’s many historical sites.

Boutiques & Art Gallery

If you’re looking for a holiday keepsake, the Queen Victoria has you covered. The ship’s on-board shopping boulevard features a carefully curated selection of boutiques from some of the biggest brands on the market. There, you’ll find fine jewellery, designer clothing, cosmetics, fragrances and destination-specific souvenirs to remember your cruise by.

The ship also hosts the Clarendon Fine Art Gallery, where you can view work by Lowry and Picasso, as well as a large number of highly regarded contemporary artists. The gallery organises an exciting program of live painting demos, artist appearances and exhibitions, and the Clarendon team also deliver engaging art talks on a wide variety of topics.

Sailing Home

By now, you will have spent a few days exploring the Queen Victoria and enjoying the facilities, activities and entertainment. But we guarantee there are still things you’re yet to see, do or find. Disembark & Home Drop-Off

Following your final breakfast aboard the ship, the Limitless team will assist with check-out. The ship’s crew will take down your bags, and we’ll help you disembark, make sure you reach your pick-up, and say our farewells. Your transfer will then get you home, dropping you off at your front door.
