Marrakesh Magic

An excellent choice for Limitless Travellers seeking a genuinely unique cultural adventure and a guided introduction to Morocco’s food, history, and culture, our Enchanted Morocco holiday also suits those searching for some off-season sun. Over eight memorable days, you will tour Marrakesh accompanied by a professional guide, visit the exotic Jardine Majorelle, and explore the delights of Marrakesh’s iconic souks on a second guided experience. Your itinerary alternates between excursions and rest days, so you have plenty of time to unwind and take things gently at your phenomenal accessible accommodation.

Accessible accommodation at HandiOasis

A purpose-built accessible guest house situated 30 minutes south of Marrakesh, HandiOasis offers easy access to the city centre while remaining peaceful, calm and set back from the action. With a casual, homely feel, it’s less formal than a traditional hotel, resulting in a more authentic local feel and an immersive holiday experience. However, that doesn’t mean it sacrifices anything in terms of comfort or accessibility. The guest house features a heated, palm-lined pool with a pool lift, a hot tub and green surroundings, making it the perfect place to retire to after an exciting day in the city.

Fly with Limitless confidence

With a Limitless Fly-To holiday, we’re by your side and supporting you the moment you reach the airport. We advocate on your behalf and work closely with the airport’s special assistance team to ensure your needs are met.

When the plane lands, our accessible transport will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. The Limitless Team will continue providing support throughout your holiday. Itinerary

Day 1 Fly to Morocco with Limitless Support
Airport

Your holiday begins at your UK airport, where you’ll meet the Limitless Team and your fellow guests at the special assistance desk.

The Limitless Team will accompany you through the airport, working alongside the airport’s special assistance team, providing additional support and advocating on your behalf. We’re with you every step of the way – as you pass through security, head to the departure gate, board the aircraft, and during the flight.

As you touch down in Marrakesh, you’ll get your first taste of the country's warmer climate. We’ll support you through the airport and onto our private accessible transfer, which will be waiting to take you to HandiOasis Marrakech Guest House, just a short 30-minute drive away. After helping you check in and settle comfortably into your room, we’ll come together for our first evening meal. It’s a chance to get to know the group, relax after the journey and enjoy the excitement of your first evening on holiday.

If you would like to know more about flights, the airport experience, or airport special assistance, take a look at our FAQs.

Day 2 Accessible Swimming & Poolside Relaxation
HandiOasis

Your first full day in Marrakesh is a chance to unwind, take it easy and enjoy that wonderfully relaxed holiday feeling.

HandiOasis Marrakesh features a heated pool with a pool lift, so you have a comfortable and inclusive means of entering the water. The Limitless Team is always on hand to provide practical assistance and encouragement, ensuring everyone who wants to swim has a chance to do so.

Whether you need help changing, getting to the pool, entering and leaving the water, or support while swimming, we’ll work to meet your individual needs. There’s no pressure to swim either. If you prefer to relax poolside with a book or start on that tan, you’re welcome to do so. It’s a gentle, uplifting day that you can spend however you please.

Day 3 Marrakesh City Tour with Professional Guide
Koutoubia Mosque
Koutoubia Mosque

Nicknamed the Red City for the red clay and sandstone used to construct its walls, buildings and defensive ramparts, Marrakesh is a feast for the senses. Its souks house mounds of colourful, fragrant spices, its streets abound with ceaseless activity and riotous noise, and its historic architecture hides shady, candle-scented courtyards.

With so much going on, it can be difficult to know what to do, where to go and how to get there. And that’s where Limitless comes in. Today, you’ll head into Marrakesh for an accessible city tour with a professional guide. Focusing on its history and most famous landmarks, and guided by the group’s interests and inclinations, your tour will balance time in the accessible vehicle with time on foot, so you can explore comfortably and confidently.

While the exact route will vary, it can include many of the city’s biggest attractions, including Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, the old Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and several traditional souks. Drawing on local insight and personal experience, your guide will give you the best possible introduction to one of the African continent’s most iconic cities.

Following your city tour, we’ll board the accessible transport and head back to the guest house for a fantastic dinner.

Day 4 Rest Day or Optional Excursions
Guests in Morocco

While the holiday itinerary aims to balance relaxing rest days with exciting excursions, some guests may want to tip the scales toward the more active side of things and book an optional excursion. These activities are not included in the price of the holiday and should be organised directly with the guest house on arrival. Your Tour Manager will be more than happy to help.

If you want to explore the epic Atlas Mountains, there’s the chance to head up into the mountain range via accessible transport, stopping at a local family-run restaurant for a traditional Moroccan lunch along the way. Those seeking a more adrenaline-filled experience may want to consider the accessible buggy or quad bike excursion. Finally, if you want to visit a traditional Berber area and get up close to Morocco’s tallest mountain, there’s an excursion to the verdant Zat Valley.

Of course, you may prefer to take it easy, relax and unwind at the guest house. The Limitless Travel Team will be there to support you and ensure you have everything you need to enjoy a truly peaceful day.

Day 5 Explore the Jardin Majorelle Botanical Gardens
Jardin Majorelle Botanical Gardens
Jardin Majorelle Botanical Gardens

Established in 1923 by the artist Jacques Majorelle, the Jardin Majorelle is a spectacular villa oasis that combines colourful architecture, enchanting gardens, a museum dedicated to Berber culture, and an excellent café.

Today, we’ll enjoy a half-day excursion to the Jardin Majorelle to explore the accessible gardens, relax in the peaceful atmosphere, and discover how French, Berber and Arab influences all contributed to modern Marrakesh.

At the heart of the gardens is the villa, which blends Art Deco and Moorish influences, and is painted in the iconic shade of blue known as bleu Majorelle. Today, the villa and gardens are owned by Yves Saint-Laurent, who rediscovered and purchased them in the 1980s and restored them to their former glory. As such, visitors also have access to the Musée Yves Saint-Laurent Marrakech.

After a chance to enjoy lunch in the on-site café, we’ll head back to the guest house for a relaxed afternoon lounging by the pool, engrossed in your holiday read, or spending time with your fellow Limitless Travellers.

Day 6 Rest, Relax and Recharge
Guests in Morocco

Our Morocco holiday is as much about rest and relaxation as it is about cultural discovery and exploring the city. We want you to return home recharged, having had time to unwind and enjoy the sun, tranquil setting and accessible swimming pool.

With that in mind, there’s nothing booked in for today, and it is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You may wish to spend the day sunbathing at the guest house, chatting with your new friends or even booking yourself a massage.

If you want to head out, Marrakesh is just a 30-minute drive from the guest house, and the guest house can support with arranging accessible transport. The Limitless Team can also help you plan your day, so speak to your Tour Manager in advance to ensure you receive the support you need.

Day 7 A Guided Tour of the Marrakesh Medina
Jemaa el-Fnaa square, Morocco
Jemaa el-Fnaa square

Marrakesh’s vibrant souks are world-famous and rank among the city’s most popular destinations for travellers. And it’s in the Medina – the old town -- that you find the biggest and best souks in Marrakesh. From exquisite artisan handicrafts and intricate leatherwork to aromatic spices and elegant jewellery, these busy markets contain everything a holiday shopper could ever want.

To provide a little social and historical context and help you navigate the Medina, today’s excursion involves a guided stroll or roll through some of the city’s most iconic souks. Your English-speaking guide will accompany you as you visit key landmarks and historic sites, explaining their history, architecture and cultural importance as you go.

The tour will take us through the various markets, providing plenty of opportunity to pick up holiday souvenirs, then on to Jemaa el-Fnaa square. This UNESCO-listed square is the city’s most famous public space and its beating heart – a place where locals and tourists have come together for centuries to share food, entertainment and conversation.

The Limitless Team will be on hand throughout the day to provide support and assistance as you discover the Medina. Following free time in the square, we’ll head back to the guest house for a relaxing evening, fantastic company, and a delicious communal meal.

Day 8 Return Home with Limitless Support
Morocco

After breakfast, we’ll help you prepare for the journey home and make sure you and your mobility equipment are ready for departure.

Our accessible transfer will take the group back to Marrakech Menara Airport, where the Limitless Team will accompany guests travelling on the designated group flight. We’ll work alongside the airport’s special assistance team and provide support as you make your way through the airport and board the flight home.

You may be leaving Morocco behind, but you’ll return with new experiences, friendships and memories, all of which have been shaped by your time in the Red City.

Flights FAQs

Are flights included in the cost of a Limitless short-haul holiday?

No, flights are not included in the cost of your Limitless short-haul holiday. However, we do provide extensive booking support, and your Limitless Personal Travel Advisor is always available to provide information and assist with any matter relating to travel and flights.

How do I book flights for Limitless holidays?

Having booked your Limitless short-haul holiday, we’ll send out flight details approximately three months before the departure date. You are then responsible for booking flights, though assistance and support are always available from your Personal Travel Advisor. You can choose to fly on a different flight to the Limitless Team and your fellow Limitless Travellers, but we will not be able to provide support at the airport or during the flight in this case. We will still arrange an accessible transfer to the hotel for you if you fly independently.

What airports do Limitless fly from and how do I get there?

For short-haul holidays, we aim to have two flight teams – one flying from a London airport and the other flying from an airport further north, typically Birmingham or Manchester. This gives Limitless Travellers greater choice and reduces travel time to and from the airport. The specific airports we use depend on destination, cost, flight availability and departure time. Where possible, we opt for a mid-day flight for your convenience.

Does Limitless liaise with the airport to organise special assistance?

Limitless Travellers are responsible for contacting and organising the special assistance team at the airport. The airport’s special assistance team will help you with check-in, security and boarding, and we recommend using their services if possible. Though the special assistance team will manage most of your airport experience, the Limitless Team will also be on hand to accompany you, provide support and advocate on your behalf.

How do the Limitless Team provide support at the airport and while flying?

The Limitless Team will usually meet you at the airport's special assistance desk, collect and handle luggage, and provide any support necessary. If required, we can schedule regular check-ins during the flight. Our team is highly experienced and regularly accompanies Limitless Travellers on international flights. As such, we're able to make sure your journey is smooth and comfortable, and you feel confident travelling. For Limitless short-haul holidays, we guarantee we'll be there to help whenever you need us.

If you opt for the One-to-One Care package, your carer will meet you at the designated airport and provide dedicated support throughout the airport, flight, transfer and holiday.

How do we transfer from the destination airport to the hotel?

We've arranged accessible transport for the drive from your destination airport to the hotel, so you don't have to worry about transfers at all. We use transfer vehicles that have been vetted to ensure accessibility and are equipped with a ramp or hydraulic lift.
