Lake District & Blackpool Explorer

We'll journey to Blackpool, our home base for this tour, in our comfortable and accessible coach. Upon arrival, take your time settling in and unpacking before joining us for a warm welcome meeting. Here, we'll have the chance to get acquainted and delve into the thrilling details of the days ahead on our exciting itinerary.

After a restful night's sleep and a delicious breakfast, we'll dive into the heart of Blackpool! Our first stop will be the iconic Tower, where you'll soar to the very top for the Eye Experience. Here, immerse yourself in a captivating 4D cinema presentation that delves into the tower's rich history. Step out onto the glass floor at the tower's peak for breathtaking views of the coastline. Following this exhilarating experience, indulge in a delightful cream tea in the elegant ballroom. As you savour your treats, enjoy the sight of dancers twirling across the dance floor to the tunes of the organist.

On Day Three, we'll visit a traditional Lake District farm, a cornerstone of the region's culture. Meet friendly farm animals, enjoy a livestock show, and savour fresh local produce for lunch at the farm's bistro. Afterward, we'll drive back through scenic routes, passing lakes, and return to the hotel. You'll then have free time to explore Blackpool's bustling streets, perhaps enjoying an ice cream or browsing for souvenirs.

Today, we'll return to the stunning Lake District, beginning our journey at Lake Windermere. Get ready to experience the lakeside beauty in ultimate comfort as we board our fully accessible cruiser. Relax and soak in the serenity of the English countryside without the hassle of transferring from your wheelchair. Don't miss capturing the breathtaking scenery with your camera – it's an unforgettable part of our Lake District adventure!

Today, we'll enjoy a brief drive to the picturesque seaside town of Lytham St Annes, nestled on the Fylde coast in Lancashire, England. Admire its delightful Victorian architecture, pristine sandy beaches, and lively cultural offerings. Lytham St Annes is the ideal destination for a mix of seaside leisure, outdoor adventures, and historical exploration. Take a leisurely stroll through the charming shops or treat yourself to a refreshing ice cream as you soak in the serene atmosphere along the promenade.

On your last day, we'll journey to Penrith, a historic market town nestled in the county of Cumbria, England. Positioned on the northern fringe of the Lake District National Park, Penrith acts as the gateway to this breathtakingly scenic area.

As our adventure comes to a close, we'll savour one last delightful home-cooked breakfast before boarding our luxury coach for the journey home. It's time to bid farewell, or as they say in Lancashire, "Ta rah!"
