What is a Mobility Holiday?

At Limitless Travel we create holidays for people with limited mobility so you can travel with confidence, comfort and peace of mind.

What care is available on your limited mobility holidays?

We offer a variety of holiday care packages on each and every one of our disabled holidays. We’re proud to cater to people with disabilities, from wheelchair users to autism friendly holidays. From emotional support to one-on-one care, our qualified and experienced care staff are on hand to take care of you on your holiday.

All bookings are followed by a phone call with our Care Manager, who will create a bespoke holiday care plan for you. You will receive support from our office team in the run-up to your holiday, and in addition to the care team, you will have the support of a Tour Manager on your holiday too.

If you’re comparing holidays for people with limited mobility, our advisors can confirm care ratios, mealtime support and evening assistance during a quick call or via a simple holidays online enquiry.

What facilities can I expect in the hotel on your holidays for the mobility impaired?

At Limitless Travel, we only utilise hotels that cater to the needs of mobility-impaired holidaymakers. This means that all public areas of the hotel are wheelchair accessible and disabled friendly, with spacious lifts accessing all floors.

There are spacious dining areas, and all dietary requirements can be catered for. In guest rooms, travellers can expect lots of open space, with en suite wet room bathrooms, profiling beds and hoists if you require them.

Additionally, some of our sunnier holidays for the mobility impaired also feature swimming pools with hoist and ramp access, so you're able to enjoy a refreshing dip.

Room requests can include an adapted room near lifts, shower chairs, bed rails or a specific mattress type. Tell us your accessibility needs and we’ll match you to the most suitable property.

Specialist Travel Insurance

Comprehensive cover is essential for peace of mind. We recommend policies that include:

Pre-existing medical conditions: declare everything so medication, consultations, and any flare-ups are covered.

Cancellation and curtailment: protects your costs if you’re unable to travel or need to return home early due to illness or emergencies.

Medical expenses and repatriation: ensures treatment abroad and medically supported transport home are fully covered.

Mobility equipment cover: adds protection for wheelchairs, hoists and aids while in transit or at your hotel.

Ask our team for insurer options commonly used by guests on our holidays for people with limited mobility.

Tips for Accessible Holidays

A few practical steps make travel smoother:

Pre-book wheelchair-accessible transfers and assistance: At stations and airports; request quiet/priority boarding where available.

Prepare medication: Carry spares in original packaging with GP letters; pack a daily pill organiser in your hand luggage.

Reserve equipment in advance: Hoists, shower chairs and mobility scooters can be limited at peak times.

Share your routine: Tell us preferred meal times, rest breaks and toilet stops so we can pace excursions accordingly.

Confirm your room layout: Request an adapted room (roll-in shower, space for hoist, bed height) that fits your needs.

Carry key documents: Insurance details, EHIC/GHIC (for Europe), prescriptions and emergency contacts.

Use our visual itineraries: Set realistic expectations and reduce travel anxiety by reviewing each day before you go.

Ready to plan?

Our specialists will tailor options to your accessibility needs and budget: whether you’re browsing holidays online or prefer to talk things through on the phone.
