Yes – one of the main benefits of a Limitless Travel tour is the welcoming and supportive community we have on every holiday. We travel as a group that's made up of tour managers, experienced carers and fellow travellers.
On our autism friendly holidays in the UK and abroad, you’ll travel with like-minded people to keep you company and offer encouragement if and when you need any. If you need a little extra support and assistance, we also have a range of care packages available to cater to various special needs.
We offer a variety of holiday care packages on each and every one of our holidays for people with autism. From emotional support to dedicated one-to-one care, our qualified and experienced carers are on hand to take care of you on your holiday.
Every booking for one of our autism friendly holidays is followed up by a phone call with our Care Manager, who will create a bespoke holiday care plan for you. You will receive support from our office team in the run-up to your holiday, and in addition to the care team, you’ll also have the support of a Tour Manager on your holiday.
Limitless Travel’s autism friendly holidays all utilise hotels that were built specifically to cater for the needs of people with a range of physical and mental disabilities. This means that all public areas of the hotel are disabled and autism friendly, with spacious lifts accessing all floors. We'll also make sure that all dietary requirements can be catered for.
In guest rooms, travellers can expect lots of open space, with en suite wet room bathroom facilities and roll-in showers. Some hotels also feature a sensory room, which can provide calming spaces when needed. There are usually lots of light and spacious public areas and rooms within the hotels are well signposted for easy access. If you require anything else within your holiday accommodation, feel free to talk to our team and we can communicate this to the hotel.
Our coaches have been specially picked to cater for those with disabilities. We understand that everyone is different and if you prefer to sit in a quieter area or close to a carer we’ll happily arrange that.
Wheelchair spaces are available with access via a lift for those who can’t use steps. We also make sure that our drivers are caring, helpful and have a high level of disability awareness.
Travelling via plane can be a testing task. But with some help and advice, we’ll make it a much smoother experience. We are unable to book your flights for you but we can help ensure that we fly on the same plane together. This way, you’ll be assisted by the Limitless Team as you travel.
It is also possible to request special assistance from the airport. These services are designed specifically for those with disabilities and are fantastic if you need a little extra help navigating the airport and ensuring you board your plane on time.
