From the medieval spires of Oxford University’s historic colleges to the rustic, rural charm of the Cotswolds, our Heart of England tour introduces you to one of the UK’s most beautiful regions. On your holiday, you’ll experience the magic of Oxford, with its fascinating academic history, plethora of first-class pubs and bewitching university. You'll enjoy a relaxing cruise between Marlow and Oxford, down the UK’s most famous river and also take in the unique Baroque architecture of Blenheim Palace.

Of course, there’s also the Cotswolds to explore. Regarded as one of the UK’s most picturesque stretches of countryside, the area’s quaint villages, breathtaking landscapes and traditional dry-stone walls transport you back in time. During our visit, you’ll have the opportunity to explore some of the region’s most famous villages, including Bourton-on-the-Water, and Stow-on-the-Wold, all of which retain their unique Cotswolds charm.

Travel and Settling In


After meeting at one of our designated UK pick-up points, we’ll begin the journey to Oxford. Our disabled friendly coaches feature lift and ramp access and wheelchairs can be secured in place, so there’s no need to transfer to a standard seat. After checking-in at the centrally-located, fully accessible hotel, you’ll have a little time to explore your surroundings before enjoying a delicious three-course meal. There will also be some excellent evening entertainment, hosted by your tour manager.


Tour Oxford & River Cruise

In the morning we'll take a relaxing boat cruise from Folly Bridge along the Thames for a scenic experience between Oxford and Marlow.

After some lunch, your tour manager will take you on a relaxed tour of Oxford. Famed for its prestigious university, the city boasts several fascinating attractions and is defined by the honey-coloured hue of its spectacular architecture. On the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the university’s main research library, the Bodleian, as well as Christ Church College and Radcliffe Camera.


Day Trip to the Cotswolds

On Day Three of your holiday, we’ll travel to the heart of the English countryside to visit the beautiful Cotswolds. We’ll stop in three of the area’s most picturesque villages, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Stow-on-the-Wold, allowing you to soak up the relaxed, rural atmosphere and see the region’s famous stone cottages. 

As well as discovering the Cotswolds’ unique heritage and breathtaking natural landscapes, we’ll stop for a hearty lunch in a cafe that overlooks the water in Bourton on the Water, and also visit a quirky Motor Museum in the village. Then there’s time to take a look around the village and pick up some souvenirs before we head back to the hotel for the evening meal.

Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace & Afternoon Tea

Today, we’ll visit Blenheim Palace, a World Heritage Site and the only non-royal, non-religious building in England to hold the title of ‘palace.’ This exquisite example of English Baroque architecture is the seat of the Duke of Marlborough and receives thousands of visitors every year. Featuring regularly updated exhibitions that cover a wide range of topics, including ‘The History of Churchill’ and ‘The Stables at Blenheim,’ this is a wonderful opportunity to explore one of the country’s most intriguing stately houses.

After we tour Blenheim Palace and its grounds, we’ll head over to the estate’s stunning Orangery Restaurant for a regal afternoon tea. With finger sandwiches, indulgent cakes and classic scones and clotted cream, it’s an afternoon feast that’s sure to leave you satisfied! To top the day off, we’ll take a walk around the palace’s delightful gardens, then head back to Oxford for the evening.

Today, your accessible Heart of England Tour comes to an end. After a hearty breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, take in the views of the English countryside through the window and enjoy a little commentary from your Tour Manager. Now, all that’s left to do is say farewell to new friends and plan your next Limitless adventure!

You'll be staying in a fully accessible, four-star hotel in Oxford. Boasting spacious and accessible bedrooms, as well as wet room bathrooms, the hotel also features a wheelchair friendly restaurant and bar. Your holiday includes a delicious three-course meal every evening, as well as a cooked or continental breakfast.
